RULES FOR PARENTS

  1. Parents are requested to ensure that their children reach school in time and are picked up on time.
  2. Parents should keep in touch with the school authorities about their children’s progress frequently. They should enforce study habits, regularity, and discipline in their children.
  3. Criticism and rude behavior with the teachers will not be tolerated. Strict legal action will be taken against the parents. If you have a legitimate complaint, meet the Head Mistress.
  4. Parents/Guardians are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by enforcing regularity and supervision that their children wards lessons and by also extending their whole-hearted co-operation from time to time.
  5. Parents / Guardians are expected to sign progress reports or any other similar notifications addressed to the school. Failure to do so may cause their children to be sent home.
  6. Parents / Guardians should not visit the classroom during class hours. For any information regarding the school, contact the school office during office hours. They are allowed to visit the school on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon only.
  7. Parents/Guardians escorting their wards to school will be allowed only till the gate of the school building.
  8. All activities of the school, whether curricular or non-curricular are compulsory all such activities play a very vital role in the development of a child’s personality. Parents are earnestly requested to refrain from asking their child to be excused from the performance of such activity
  9. Engaging private tutors from school staff or otherwise, is not recommended. No student should take private tuition from a high school teacher, in a subject, that is taught by the same teacher. (Permission is to be obtained from the H. M. in unavoidable cases.)
  10. It will be binding upon the parents to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for attending any tour/picnic organized by the school.
  11. Failure of parents to co-operate with the school authorities, regarding the education and discipline of their children may necessitate the rustication of the student from the school.
  12. Parents should facilitate English speaking by conversing with their wards in English at home as far as possible.

RULES FOR  STUDENTS

  1. Students should be ‘regular and punctual’. Students coming late to school will be sent back at the risk of their parents.
  2. Attendance of pupils should be regular. Absence for any reason apart from illness will not be encouraged at all.
  3. Any absence must be explained with a note from the parent or guardian. Leave without an excuse or without prior permission of the Principal will not be granted.
  4. All children must be present on the first and the last day of the academic session.
  5. Habitual late attendance, repeated unjustified absence, habitual inattention to school work, disobedience, slang language or objectionable moral conduct are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.
  6. Parents should not enter the classrooms during school hours. 11. Care must be taken on the class property and no one should scratch spoil or damage any school furniture. Pupils should avoid defacing the wall or floor of the school by writing or drawing on them.
  7. Once a child enters the school premises, she will not be allowed to go home. Parents are requested to send a note if they want their children to leave during school hours for any reason.
  8. Children are not allowed to receive visitors or telephone calls. All messages will be handled by the teachers. Cell Phones are strictly prohibited.
  9. Children must take care of their belongings. The school authorities will not accept any responsibility for the loss of books. Clothes, money, tiffin boxes etc.
  10. School uniforms should be spotlessly clean & well-ironed. Personal hygiene is to be given priority. Hair must be scrupulously clean.
  11. Applying mehendi or kajal, wearing necklaces, clips, colored hair bands, rings, earrings, nose studs, leggings, and scarves, etc. are strictly prohibited. 
  12. Students who wear spectacles should use only black or brown frames.
  13. Mobile phones, laptops, and iPods are strictly prohibited, and if found in the possession of the student will be confiscated.
  14. A student found guilty of violating school regulations or committing any act of indiscipline is liable to be punished at the discretion of the Head Mistress (H.M.).
  15. It is compulsory for all students to speak in English. Students should communicate with each other and their teachers only in English during school hours.

RULES FOR DISMISSAL OF THE CHILD FROM SCHOOL

 The school reserves the right to dismiss those who break the school rules which include the following:

  1. Tampering with marks in the progress report and other school certificates.
  2. Harmful conduct to others.
  3. Grave damage to school property.
  4. Repeated absence without leave intimation or unexplained absence for more than a week.
  5. Failing twice in the grade.
  6. Dues not paid on time.
  7. Unfair means used in the exams.
